Florida Legislative Scoreboard alert: Workplace Violence Prevention roll call

There was a Congressional roll call vote today, April 16, 2021 on the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act (WVP).

The legislation would require the Secretary of Labor to issue an interim final standard on workplace violence prevention that requires employers in the health care and social service sectors to develop and implement a comprehensive workplace violence prevention plan based on guidelines published by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in 2015.  Every Democrat and 32 Republicans got together to pass this bill to safeguard essential workers. How did Florida Legislators vote?

Note on the Scoreboard:

A Red X denotes a vote that WUFF PAC considers to be wrong for Florida families. In this case, that would be a vote NOT to pass the WVP.

A Blue Star marks a vote that is supportive of Florida families, in this case, a vote to pass WVP.

A Green Zero indicates the member did not bother to vote, except in the case of District 20, which is still mourning the death of Rep. Alcee Hastings, a giant of the Florida civil rights movement, and waiting on the Governor to set dates for a special election.
